Trail of Chaos elevator bug

The Trial of Chaos elevator that leads to the next room will not go up if it is used to enter the trial. I entered the trial using the exit elevator by warping across a gap using ball lightning + lightning warp.

After completing the trial, the elevator was already on ground level but the button was stuck depressed so I could not exit the trial the normal way. Both the entry and exit elevators are glowing.

I was able to leave the trial by using ball lightning + lightning warp to warp to the top of the entry elevator, then again across the gap to proceed to the next room.
