Skeletal Storm Mage active - ideas

Hello GGG Team,

thanks for the game. I am looking forward to your ideas in the future.

Hereafter a few ideas on the skeletal storm mages.
Feel free to use these ideas elsewhere and alter them to your wishes.


Skeletal storm mage – active
feels impractical

I would not change the power of the build but reward a bit more active play style.

improvement: usability, linear power increase

1. lighting storm channel
a. designate 1-n storm mages to become immobile and channel a lightning storm
that hits enemies nearby
b. designate a single storm mage like in (a), but drains your mana (mana transference)

- play with the idea, maybe you can come up with something more fun

2. storm clouds
designate 1-n storm mages to cast a storm cloud that moves towards the targets
could have increased shock / electrified effect
(I would prefer it to not stun to strong to avoid re-balance issues)

3. static discharge
like (a) but with strong intent to stun in a large area

4. lighting summons
the lighting storm mage sacrifices itself to cast a rune on the ground.
For duration x lightning empowered minions spawn and attack the enemies nearby
(like raging spirits but with a bit more duration to compensate the travel time)
- this should work well with the passive tree points assigned.

5. minion fusion
fuse all minions of the type to become a lightning empowered entity.
The entity is stronger than the sum of the storm mages and uses
single and AoE attacks in accordance to the damage type.
After a set duration the entity is broken into pieces and falls apart, these pieces revive as storm skeleton mages x times faster then their normal revive.
