Mapping changes/waystone changes
My feedback on current mapping/endgame:
I appreciate you guys tried something different from poe 1 ! Currently I think there is too much RNG involved: rolling my tablets is rng, rolling my waystones is rng, activating tablets in my Atlas towers is rng, corrupting my waystones is rng against bad odds... It's tideous and boring to set up an area, you first have to "find" an area that has enough towers to buff some atlas map points well. And "find" here means i am working through dozens of maps i do not want to play, most times loading tier 1 to 5 and blasting through them as fast as i can, wasting my 'game-time'. Then when i buffed an area rng style, I have to run maps I don't like because I have to reach those buffed maps and then rng decided to drop all buffs on a map i don't like.. So I am playing this game for about 5 hours just to get 1 or 2 corrupted maps tier 16, on some map nodes that have breach+irridiation+corruption+boss with decent modifiers. ( because that's true endgame right, that's where I end up meeting challenging content) You already know the tower maps are bad, a pian, a chore, horror blast trough to find the end. Me and my friend call it: RNC ( C stands for crazy) Some of them stopped playing because they felt it was too much work to set up decent maps in the limited time they had to play :'-( In contrast: in poe 1 I can choose what content i want by my atlas tree setup and scarabs ( which connect mapping more directly to the economy which i think is fun) Second i can choose what map layout I want, that fits my chosen content, setup, build and the play style I like. ( All 5 are missing in Poe 2 ! ) So, I end up running maps i do not want to run, with mods and buffs i don't want to run, 80% of the time, and it feels like a chore more than enjoying a game. So I think it would be a great area to keep working on :-) Thanks for the game! P.S. after almost 350 hours I still have to find my first Citadel.. the area i uncovered is truely HUGE!
