Story feedback - I miss the romance in PoE1

Path of Exile 1 has one of the most romantic stories I've ever seen in a video game. In act 1, the main antagonist is a scorned bride. In act two, you find a letter about how the person you are chasing slept with a guard, perhaps to persuade the guard to block you. In act 3, Clarissa begs you to save Toleman, and in act 4, the couple are so joined at the hip, that they are literally a single clickable entity. The list goes on!

In Path of Exile 2, there is some romance, but I hope they explore it a bit more and a bit deeper. In act 1, there was a couple, and one of them is killed by the executioner when we first meet them. However, I think I feel more deeply connected to Clarissa and Toleman, maybe because I hung out with Clarissa beforehand, and also because I see later on in act 8, how much Toleman means to her. In act 2, there's also a forbidden love, between the merchant lady and an explorer lady. But I feel the forbidden love between Gruest and Helena is a lot more engaging, because we get to see Gruest's character develop, from a xenophone to someone who trusts a blackguard with his talisman.

In summary, I hope we get to seem more and deeper romances in Path of Exile 2. Thank you! ^^

I didnt know PoE1 beta had 8 acts, I only remember 3 /s
