PoE2 - Failed to join instance for Test of Time

Trying to get 4th ascendancy, cleared Test of Strength, Will and Cunning.

I took some time making sure my gear was ready, then tried to click on the portal for the Test of Time. "Failed to join instance".

I try again, same result.

I try to log out and back in immediately, but instead of logging in where I was at the end of the third trial, I find myself at the start of the entire Trial, with my Djinn Barya consumed and thus I just wasted all that time.

This was very very frustrating...
