Dying with CI using my mana pot

It has something to do with me getting hit. I think it might be because of the Sorcery Ward. I am being hit when this happens. I think if I am taking elemental damage, when I use my pot at the same time, its just killing me. Doing this on my Deadeye, this would never happen. That's the only difference. Both are using CI. I noticed you fixed pots with CI. It might have to do with that.

Your mana pots prefix takes 15% of its recovery amount from your life, which is 1. So it kills you.
