How they should work, based on the wording ("Enemies killed by anyone in your Presence count as being killed by you instead"):
When anyone in my presense kills a monster, that kill counts as my kill, including all my "on kill" effects.

How it actually works:
When anyone in my presense kills a monster, that kill counts as my kill, only if the slain monster is also in my presense.

It's easy to test in party with items that have "on kill" effects like Death Rush or Headhunter.
