Legendry Items Are Mostly Trash in Poe 2
" just to be clear, i have put in about total hours 2170 hours POE 1 and 322 hours in POE 2, and i would still say that uniques are underwhelming in both. Poe 1 has more, however more doesn't mean better. (that is what D4 did i dislike it.) but the lack what you can do with the gear is what bothers me. Uniques should be something that you can build around, unfortunately in POE 2 most Uniques are worthless with no bearing on game play past early game. what im wanting is to allow the player to either make a really great unique or to brick the item, and you could limit what could go on the uniques so that it doesn't have every mod, but i would argue it would expand the rang of game play. (I also believe that allowing people to mod the gear is in line with the (BUILD YOUR WAY) thought process of GGG) |

So is the consensus then that the majority of uniques are only for early game and largely unattractive for mid-game to end-game use? That's certainly how I see it. I personally do not like this style of uniques. In D2 you used to get that rush out of finding a unique but in this game it's like 'does it fit into my collection i'll never use'?
Finding a unique should be more valuable than salvaging to make 1ex. |
