Being pushed all over the screen as melee is BS and feels awful

My bad for not being a gigachad rich boi or playing a super meta build and workin on an off-meta earthshatter titan that takes a few seconds to set up the big clear as GGG seemed they wanted us to do in PoE 2.

My reward for following what GGG seemed to be wanting us to do rather than whatever streamer builds is basically spending most of maps being pushed and nudged all over the place by everything, including sent a half screen across by a charging enemy before I might be able to dodge out.

Breach? Well if I fall slightly behind I'm fucked. I'm not dead, I have Surrender (very lucky drop) and good block, so I can sit there getting pushed around a few screens by the increasing dozens of enemies surrounding me while I'm unable to really do anything, since nobody told breach enemies that PoE 2 is supposed to have slower, more tactical gameplay.

Between mace skills feeling mostly like garbage with the pace of endgame, warrior generally feeling super underwhelming as hell and like they designed it 6 years ago and haven't updated it as development progressed, and the myriad issues with melee that range from constant minor annoyances to genuinely keyboard-smashingly frustrating, I'm wondering how this was even tested to make it into EA in this state.

Sunday and whatever patches GGG is cooking can't come soon enough, because every time I start having fun bopping along in mapping I'm reminded that off-meta melee is apparently the worst fucking decision you can make as a player of moderate skill.

Bumping this up because Breach makes the game unplayable if you don't have a meme build or trade for GG gear. Fuck this garbage, a fucking meme that PoE2 was supposed to fix melee. Absolute fuckin trash.

honestly the mobs feel super fast when you melee. They're like the zombies from 28 days later and not the slow moving zombies that GGG put in the instruction videos of what a skill does.

That's deceptive marketing at best with that skills video. If they want to show skill, use it against a mob that's hasted with bubble and volatile plants in the video.

Yep once again they've given melee less thought and love, playing it on here its like an entirely different experience than zooming thru with a deadye or spark blitz. My best melee build is molten... not really melee is it? Also all the melee skills are "convert X percent of damage to X element damage" where are all the purely phys skills? I really hope they add them in.
