Witch/Sorcereress Early Game Suggestions
I've been greatly enjoying the game and wanted to provide a few bits of feedback regarding casters.
A couple of things I noticed when playing both casters is that with the introduction of dodge rolling, movement speed is of higher value in terms of bosses and overworld than old POE. There aren't that many nodes to provide movement speed increases, which means I'm always aiming to get boots with at least +10% movement on them. It would open up more options for footwear if there were at least a couple movement speed boosts within the caster slice of the tree, preferably one in a centralized location. The other is that witch could use a new level 3 chaos spell of some kind. Currently, level three occult gems do not include anything in the chaos variety. High chaos burst damage is something we don't have outside of detonating a curse, so an alternative nuke level 3 would be ideal to help with boss kills. It may be helpful to include some nodes for witches that increase spirit along with some type of off-hand items specific to witches instead of scepters. Perhaps adding spirit to the off-hand foci. Early game paints the default witch as a minion based caster that uses the skeleton minion scepter in particular. However, scepters require strength, which is something the witch will struggle with over time due to high dependency on intelligence for skill requirements and mana.
