item drops are too low, almost impossible tro use the trade because of how little i get
Simply put I struggle to even put a decent build together without help from friend I havent dropped a single item of value for at least 140 hours and im reaching waystone 8+
Im not even dropping MagicFind items so im stuck at 40-50% since the start. still didnt reach 75% chaos resistance (since no ring or ammulette drops) so i still occasionnaly get onehsoitted by chaos damages based ennemies, and thus im kind of stuck at lvlv79 Most item are sold in exalted and divine orb currency i have yet to spot more than occasionally. Every item im actually using is second hand gear from friends and pitty drop from stranger I played with... Thank you guys byt the way... but it make me feel pretty shit I havent been able to get anything to give them back in 100h+ of playing. Last bumped on Jan 8, 2025, 1:09:37 AM

" This is my experience and that of many others. Not even with more than 150 MF does the quantity and quality of loot improve. This makes me enter into the same "conspiracy" that D4 players talk about, where the devs define the seed of some players who are streamers, so that they have better loot in quantity and quality. |

I don't know how many exalts I found in the 220 hours I've played, but it must be almost well over 50 plus a couple of chaos which I exchanged, so I can't confirm that those are rare.
If you found one divine, you can exchange that for over 100 exalts and get some REALLY good gear via trade. |

Unfortunately the divine orb werent my drop.
I said i saw them never that it was in my games. I dropped 1 exalted orb 0 divine and 1 chaos orb in my total of 170+h of play so i just dont know how people trade stuff around and not at the price I see going around. Last edited by Kanjejou#7620 on Jan 7, 2025, 9:14:43 PM

Are you sure, that you dont hide your loot accidentally? there is a button for that. if this is active, you still see the loot after a kill when you hover over it but then it disappears.
or maybe you are using a lootfilter that is messed up? You should have dropped at least a few exalts from the campain alone. " This conspiracy is present in every game with rng. the reason is players not willing to accept that they are not achieving the same results as others due to lack of skill or time investment. " There is no quantity mods on items I believe, and it is called rarity not MF. |

Not being able to use trade isnt bad - you cant even focus craft anymore, since Alterations have been removed (at least i never saw one) and once you regal a magic item, if its bricked, you will spend your super rare currency on hoping that you can reroll a decent stat.
Before we restructure the drops, we need to rebuild the system of what we gonna do with the drops once we have them. The current mechanic of maybe getting some thing, and then maybe making it into a good magic item and then maybe regaling it decently and then maybe exalt spamming it to maybe add one good stat, and if in doubt, maybe chaos orbing it into a god item, wayyyyyyyy too many maybes to be viable. And fun. No lifers can waste their infinite currency, but normal gamers wont get any hoards of currency to spam. |

" pretty much this - drops are low and crafting is just random RNG crap and im in endgame t15 and never yet 'crafted' anything good - literally a waste of orbs that you can turn into Ex and buy what you need instead - which although works is just boring... making things yourself should be a focus but this is the exact opposite. |

And PoE is filled with gas lighters who will try to tell you otherwise with all the usual lines
* get good * play more * get better gear It's all bs. I was playing at basically a full-time rate (160 hours in 4 weeks), and getting garbage for crafting. Barely enough to trade for a few items, but certainly not crafting. That is a terrible balance decision. Not on the programmers themselves, but on the leadership for thinking that is acceptable. And GGG gas lights too. They imply that if you play casual, you won't get enough. Yeah, full-time job hours is NOT casual. |

The funny thing is in early maps I got a couple of divines. 100+ maps since and haven't seen any and after upgrading my main weapon [which is decent but not brag-worthy] I'm sitting at no DIVs and not a ton of EX either.
Then again my rarity is terrible as most of my gear mods are ATTRIB, RES, Recovery for suffixes. Life, Armor, and Mana for prefixes. I would LIKE extra rarity but but getting gear with 6 good stats is outside of my current budget. Note: I would have more EX but I'm spending a ton juicing maps so I can keep up sustain. |
