Ancient Vows Relic Disappeared

I had a full inventory, and was rearangin my items. i got one relic in my hand closed the inventory and it was gone... now i cant finish the quest ancient vows because i'm missing one relic of two... i last got it in bone pit

I have the exact same issue... the quest tells me to insert the kabala clan relic but i lost it when i tried dropping a pair of boots to a friend while clearing his campaign in act I and instead of the boots i dropped the relic and it was instantly deleted :(
Now i can't get it to drop a second time no matter what I do and the quest just asks me to insert a relic I don't have :( |

I am going to the Dreadnought now and found only one of the halves during the whole act. I even farmed Valley of Titans Map a second time to see if the other half dropped. Nothing.
