Addressing SSF and Crafting bench from POE 1
Currently POE2 is very hard and random to SSF. In POE1 it was easily done with crafting bench by just mixing those you needed the most: resists, flat dmg or something else. I understand that GGG doesn't want to add such strong mechanism to POE2. But here's my suggestion how crafting bench can be added into the game without actually affecting trading leagues at all, while making SSF leagues much better:
1) Remove all really good crafts (meta-crafts for sure, everything related to Betrayal etc.) 2) After you add crafted mod, item becomes !corrupted!, and after that you cannot modify it by any means further. Also you have no possibility to change the craft. In this case, crafting bench will be not a thing, that high crafters use. They will not use it to hide unwanted mods before exalting or omen crafting, and they will not be able to finalize the item with corruption in the end.
