[SUGGESTION] New tower design
Towers, in their current state, are boring and feel like a waste of time. Most people don't like them and they are running them as T1.
My proposal is a complete redesign: - The layout map might be something as top of The Sceptre of God tower from Poe1 (Act 3). That is, just some stairs with a big arena on the top - The arena has one random boss, which must be beaten in order to spread irradiation from the tower - After defeating the boss, the player can choose amongst 4-6 different precursor tablets, randomly proposed by the game (from a list, like at the gem fountain at the end of PoE1's Labyrinth) - The proposed tablets, while random, are yet tied to the applied difficult to the tower. That is, their affixes depend on the tier of the tower. So beating a T1 tower will be less rewarding than beating a T15 one (ie: a T1 tower might give you 4 low tier precursors to choose, while T15 might give 6 generally more powerful) This new design would offer some advantages: - Towers would be interesting no matter their level - They would give progress sensation - They would offer meaningful content This is my proposal. sounds better than the current boring shit .
Also stop the expanding atlas and make it static like POE1 . No one want to keep playing oversized stupid layout maps. We want to favorite the map layout we want and continue playing it. I don't want to spend 500 hours to find one stupid citadel. |
