Breach slow-motion
I have been running breach since launch without client side issues, but all the sudden today my breaches will cause large network lag spikes, manifesting as my game entering "slow motion" when both I and the monsters are slowed down massively, but it is still responsive to input. Then, once the breach is over, my character zips around the map at high speed, seemingly replaying all the inputs during the breach.

Ok actually after experiencing this a little more it may be an issue with specific maps - fortress seems to cause this for me.

Just happened to me on Savannah, 3 breach map RIP

This is happening to me so often I almost can't do breaches anymore.
I was just in a Grotto map and the slow motion effect got worse and worse, and by the 4th breach the server crashed and I lost the map. I'm considering dropping the 40% density node on the breach atlas. Has anyone found a solution? |

Also experiencing this. Happened a couple times recently, but today was a slideshow, followed by about 10 seconds of fast-forwarding. Super rubber-bandy.
I turned off loot but that didn't help. It was a lot but most filtered out anyway. |

this is happening to me as well. intermittently mostly. some maps more than others. the entire instance lags regardless of a breach being open

Happened for me just now on Rustbowl.
To be clear, I normally run breaches without issue, but occasionally it becomes a slideshow, extremely sluggish, and then everything moves at warp speed to play catch up. And then I died. :`( |

Bug Report ID: #3783651750
Occurred on first 10 breach map. While in open breach, getting "close" (allmost on-screen) to some specific monster, or to another breach, causes the game to go into sort of slow-motion, eventually turning into image slideshow. The other breach(es) does not have to be opened for this to occur, and opening them only worsens the problem. All graphs from F1 stay in norm (60fps, cpu & gpu responses in single digits...), aside from network which is spiking like crazy. After all breaches close, there is a period of catching up with frantic movement, then everything returns to normal. hardware should be sufficient, i have new ~2000$ pc Last edited by stonedsensei#7098 on Jan 15, 2025, 6:16:04 PM
