One portal for pinnacle bosses feels horrible
I'm really not ok with 1 portal for pinnacle bosses that you need to spend a lot of time grinding/currency just to attempt the boss once. If you die do it all over again just for ONE more attempt.
How is this a fun way to learn a boss fight? Getting my 4th ascendancy in the trial of chaos was one of the least fun experiences I've had in the game. I got it in the end but the whole process what so frustrating. Having a single attempt every 3-4 hours feels so bad. Btw I'm fine with one portal per normal map (maybe just don't remove the map boss/bonuses on death), but on pinnacle bosses give us at least 3 portals or something. As it is, it almost makes it mandatory to watch a guide if you don't want to waste time and get frustrated. In my opinion this is not a good design and not fun at all. Reset boss health on death so you can’t zerg/brute force it but 1 attempt for the mats required ain’t it, chief. |

+1. One portal to attempt a pinnacle boss that requires hours of farming the splinters to make the breachstone, attempting it once and dying when it was at less than 10% hp and not being able to go back in and attempt it again is a miserable experience.
I don't mind scuffing a normal map with the one-and-done mechanic and the repercussions from it, but having just spent a lot of time and investment trying to get my first atlas passives for Breach and having to start the process all over is a little demoralizing right now. |

+1 This with the xp loss on death at level 91 it is rage inducing. I'm glad they fixed the breach boss throwing infinite hands though here i was thinking well this is BS when the hell do i ever even get to attack when the boss just keeps throwing out hands non stop. Unfortunately for me i died 3x to it and almost quit on the last one I'm afraid to go back and try again i need to finish getting level 92 before i attempt it. Its a real shame because the boss fights are really awesome in POE, but i feel like i am forced to only do bosses when i have no XP to lose.

I feel like its bad game design. I played end game raiding with teams for around 20years, had no problems dying and learning mechanics for 3 hrs a night sometimes for months to finally down a hard boss. I put over 22k hours of my life into doing that and I can tell you if they dont allow you to try more against these challenges then I wont be playing it much. |
