Where are the +Attribute runes?
Seriously, why do they not exist? Lol isnt that a no brainer?..Especially with the skills being tied to requiring all 3 attributes. Why isn't there a rune that gives like +10 or 15 to strength, dex, and Intelligence?
Ive done it like 3 times now where I respec a couple attribute point passive nodes to be able to equip a new piece of gear, and then all of a sudden I lose like 4 skills cause I don't have enough intelligence anymore. Its super annoying, I duno if its just me but on controller HUD they don't offer enough of a noticeable warning to stop you from doing it. Runes that give you stats would be super nice for leveling and progressing thru the games campaign to mitigate this at the very least. Easy answer. Stat stackers are hugely powerful endgame. Giving them more ways to get even more stats would make them even more busted. Having stats be hard to get makes "good items" harder to find, as you now need Important stat 1, 2, 3, and AT LEAST 30 <Int, Str, Dex>, whatever you're missing....AND probably also want high resistances on that piece of gear as well.
Its all about balancing your character between all the things you WANT vs. all the things you NEED. |

" I don't know if having a rune that gives 10 to either attribute would be busted though would it? Im far from a PoE expert but Im sure being able to add to an attributes via runes isn't gonna break the endgame. If you wanna socket all your gear with Str runes for instance then youre sacrificing all the other benefits that runes or other socketables can grant, so wouldn't it be a trade off and build specific? Not to mention its a permenant decision so it'd be more likely people just add it to their current gear as they progress thru the campaign. Like when they wana change something about their build but the attributes lock them out, cause I find thats happened to me often and its pretty annoying having to constantly respec and change 5 dex to 5 int or whatever. IMO If you can go anywhere in the passive tree without restricitons, equip any weapon as any class then I think adding some ways to socket attributes wouldnt be a bad thing.. but I duno, thats just me. |
