Atlas is way too RNG heavy, a total pain to navigate, and Citadels are much too rare
Atlas and endgame progression in general is pretty much ruining my endgame experience right now, and needs a lot of work. I don't have any desire to keep trying to progress.
Citadels need to be more common to start with. Let me just say I have well over 150 hours of solid mapping this league, most of which in Tier 15's, and I have found ONE IRON CITADEL. It's getting ridiculous. Leveling past 92 is also way too slow. Way too hard to push monster level above 81 which means the vast majority of maps give <1% exp, but you lose >10% exp if you die to one of the many silly overtuned 1-shots (almost all of which by basic white mobs). Suggestions: Running higher tier maps, specifically clearing Towers using Tier 15 waystones should have a high chance of spawning a Citadel nearby, if you don't already have one discovered on your Atlas. Citadels and other special maps need universal markers the same way the Player and Burning Monolith have, without this navigating the Atlas SUCKS. Give the player some way to scout or navigate further into the Atlas without having to clear boring map and after boring map just to reach a boring Tower, just to not find any Citadels. The majority of the funner and more juiced locations on my Atlas I don't bother running because they don't progress me any closer to the elusive Citadels I need. Give us more options to push waystone monster level past 81, even if it makes the map harder, actually getting some experience for my time would justify higher risk.
