Is POE2 really a game released this year?

No, its 2024 game with flipped assets from 2012
We don't really know what else they have already finished or close to finish. In Endgame reveal trailer he said something like "80% there"

If that turns out to be true i can see a december 2025 release being realistic, i sometimes read 6 months but that doesn't really sound realistic to me, 1 month already done 5 months to go? I don't think so.

For lootfilters i agree it would be nice to have a few presets, no fancy customization just basic/strict/hyper-strict or something with little explanation for it, who wants more customization can still use neversink or others

When players being dependent into resources outside of the game that provides resources for the game that improves the experience to play the game, its an objectively bad design. Having no in-game loot filter is not a good game design in PoE 2. Last Epoch can do it so why can't PoE 2 ? To save development time ? When something like loot filter is an important feature in a game like this ?
There are too many fundamental issues with the game content. Can they solve this and release it in a year? Trials, atlas maps, etc.

We've already seen lot of Act 4 (maybe Act 5 in the Ranger showcase) footage back when the game was just Alpha. While game balance and squashing bugs takes its sweet time, the most time-consuming part of making a game is creating new assets for it. Doesn't matter how good employees you hire, theres still a fixed required amount of time if you want to make really polished 3D models which have a lot of fluid animations going on.

Assuming all the audiovisual assets are done and its all about polish and tweaks, then 6-8 months sounds feasible. Ultimately its not a huge hurdle to make endgame content because it reuses a lot of campaign assets. Arbiter of Ash looks cool but when you zoom in closely, it is a slightly modified model of Jamanra, its a half reused asset from Act 2.

If I need to improve my gaming experience, such as quick price queries without leaving the game, loot filters, editing loot filters, etc., I need to download 2 to 4 out of game plugins.
Is this really a game released in 2024 or 2025?
Why do I have to understand programming basics when I want to customize my own loot filter?
When a player needs a certain function that is not provided by the production team but seeks third-party software or websites, it often means the production team's incompetence or inaction.

You don't need to download anything extra to play POE, some of them may add convenience though.

Argument invalid.

As for a loot filter is editing a plaintext file programming now? No wonder they prefer auto completes over this new generation kek

nice gas lighting bro, play poe with the 4 default tabs and no trade macro then come back here and tell us how you feel.

If you only have 4 tabs you don't need a trade macro either. See, you solved your problem yourself!
