Witch Ascendants lack Chaos DoT option
The witches starting tree differs from the other classes, somewhat specifically in having chaos DoT nodes near the start.
Yet none of its ascension classes have much in the way of synergy for builds involving it. I suggest one of the bloodmages recoup mechanics be altered to work with it. (can leach off DoT, or orbs spawn based on damage taken by cursed enemies instead of critical hits against them.) and maybe revise the crit rate boosting passives to damage against cursed foes or some such. or maybe the infernalist can something like "damage over time deals an additional 15% fire damage over time". Just got to the trial and it feels like there's no option to go. As I want to got big in energy shield with chaos inoculation with ED and contagion. My options were leech life or 1 Energy shield per max 8 life which doesn't work when max life is 1.
And there were no options for DOT the reason I picked the witch was cause her description basically said Minions or chaos magic or bones. I definitely would life to see some love for chaos damage as contagion already feels very clunky. |

I'm willing to bet that the 3rd Witch ascendancy will be chaos dot and bone skill based. Think Occultist. It fits very well into the whole Witch theme

True, but there is that ring that turns ignites into chaos damage. So some oddball infernalist can make use of the chaos nodes.
