This is hilarious

i cant hear this "iT's EaRLy aCCEss"-Shit anymore. you guys are white knighting the shit out of GGG. These guys had more then 5 years of development time for this game with years of experience in PoE1. And if you really think that GGG will be able to fix the game in 6 months from now, you are delulu and don't know how software development works. There is nothing new in the endgame, they copied PoE1 League mechanics into a big map, from the 600+ new monster types you dont see any difference after 100maps since you dont care about what you kill, as long as it dies fast. there are ascendancys which are totally broken compared to others. game mechanics which seem like they were not tested by 1 human beeing with common sense. Mistakes which were corrected in PoE1 years ago already, were put in again? It feels like nobody from PoE1 Team worked on this game?! No MAP STASHTABS? It is more an alpha, then it is a Early Access. For an EA the game should be in a stable state with some stuff missing and some changes here and there, which the community will point out. But in PoE2 its not just that and you know that aswell. Stop white knighting. The game has dupe's and exploits which people are abusing. the economy is broken. if you want to play as a "normal" guy in the late game, HF farming 100div for an upgrade. and there is only just a handful of meta builds which can clear the endgame. and then they just leave the office for 3-4 weeks. People need vacations, that is totally true and they probably deserved theire vacations, but guys, its not a small indie company, they have a game online with more then 500k+ concurrent players over the last weeks, you can't just close the doors and leave. you need to be reactive in some way.

Everyone saying that GGG is on vacation/holidays and will be back in a few days with tons of patches and fixes - hilarious stuff guys.

That's exactly what they did, released a huge product and left the office for a few weeks, as an IT company, with software developers.

Wonder what next week is gonna be like - 'they ate too much during christmas and they're still resting, wait 2 weeks or so, patches will come'.

It would help if you actually understood what early access means. Here's a good start: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_access
How many time do we have to link the definition of EA?

Yeah sure no news yet is not great but the week that just passed was still considered vacation whatever you like it or not.

Now, if by friday next week there's no news at all, then it will be fine to complain there's a lack of communication, it will be justified. But until then? nope, be patient and distract yourself elsewhere if you can't stand PoE2 right now.

Also...don't expect "lot's of huge patches", by doing that you're just increasing your expection and that's just gonna annoy you even more.

I'd much rather prefer it if people actually post criticism that isnt mired in a layer of snarkiness, but "it's early access" isnt really an excuse for a lack of updates. If anything, early access is when a game usually sees the highest frequency of updates...

It's not an excuse, updates need testing and take a lot of effort. Just touch the grass, you knew what you're buying, games is just out for literally a month and there's been dozen of updates already.

I'm honestly not surprised that we're going to have to wait for next week to hear much out of GGG.

I suspect we might get some announcements Monday or Tuesday. As for "exploit" fixes, rebalances, introducing a new "league" to reset the economy, etc. I wouldn't expect much for weeks [maybe as late as Feb or Mar]
Man just wait for crazy good new ideas GGG will introduce! Never heard of before atlas of worlds, favorite maps, improved visibility on ice/fire/lightning explosions, crafting bench, movement skills, minion recall.
Haters cant even imagine what crazy new leagues GGG are going to bring!
Like harbinger, settlers, legion.
GGG is truly an aspiring company of constant innovation in arpg.
Maybe we even get some true cutting edge stuff like, renaming t9-15 affixes to t1 on items, but man, that would truly rock my world

LMAO. I'll love too see the fresh meat praising for every single these ''updates'' . but hey I guess rebooting is a Trend in lazy game companies nowadays so not a surprise

One update every 1-2 months would still be more communication than 99% of EA games.

So far we're way inside the threshold for good communication for an EA game.

Go touch grass.
