This is my feedback. There are many like it but this one is mine.
I'll preface this by saying I'm really enjoying the game and this is just off the top of my head feedback/opinion. Ymmv and your experiences with the game may differ.
This is, in no way, comprehensive. Just some thoughts I jotted down in notepad and copy-pasted here. **added a couple things in edit.** PoE2 Feedback: --Campaign --Act 3 feels loooonnnnggggg. --Trials --We play for the Ascendancy. That's the class identity. I don't understand the reasoning in making the 3rd so late-game. The 4th should be in maps and 3rd late campaign, imo. --Sekhemas: Time boss mini-game only once per fight, pretty please. --Ultimatum: Sick chicken can stay. Tornado chicken needs to go or get rid of big tornado that fills up most of the arena--please. --Endgame --I like the concept and know it was a recent shift, so I expect tweaks and changes over the course of EA/Beta. --Still too many untelegraphed on-death effects. --Difficult to get Chaos resistance, especially with rng crafting. --Amethyst rings and Chaos implicit or affixed items weren't dropping very often for me until tier 14-15. --XP Penalty, plus loss of map and juice and loot--too much, imo. --Mechanics --Minion Pathing --Even in campaign, minions sometimes get stuck in corridors on certain terrain. --Revive doesn't feel good and can get you killed until you've stacked a sufficient amount of revive speed, which usually doesn't happen until maps. --Minions need to leash after a certain point. --Auto-aim --About a third of the time (maybe more?) abilities will fire in a different direction than the cursor is pointed. --WASD --Feels good, but not a fan of the either/or with click to move. --If I set my left click ability to not cast when moving then I can no longer auto-walk to vendors/stash to interact with them. Also can't pick up loot unless I'm very close--pick up radius seems smaller than necessary. --Rarity (esp in SSF) --I like rarity, but it should be toned down a bit, esp. in endgame. Maybe a hard cap? --Crafting --I'm sure RNJesus loves it, but nobody else does. --Orbs love to give my caster Acc. Are the weights borked? --When you get a decent piece of gear in late game and you have no way to fill a hole in resists/power, it feels bad man. --I'd just like to be able to make a plan to procure/make an item that's not just chase bases and bet on the roll of the dice. --Deterministic items are rare as hen's teeth and most are underwhelming--looking at you Omens and Greater Essences. **Edit** --Other --Movement Speed should be an implicit on boots. --Rare/Magic mobs/chests should always give at least one rare/magic item or currency. --Rare mobs should be more distinct, especially in maps where they can get juiced to the gills with modifiers. --Armor needs to be made viable. Please, don't nerf ES. I understand you'll probably nerf Grim Feast, but also bring Armor up to a good place like ES alone is. --Allow runes to be overwritten. **Edit** --UI and QoL --Ability to move map from upper right --It would be easier/safer to navigate if you could easily check the mini-map and use the overlay intermittently instead of feeling you need to have it open all the time. --Ability to keybind overlay controls from arrow keys. I'm left-handed and this would be a boon. --More cursor colors and a cursor size between medium and large would be appreciated. --Ability to lock the UI so you don't accidently click on something in combat. This includes the honor bar in Sekhemas. --Character still feels too zoomed in. 10-15% more zoom out would be stellar. --Game Identity --Is this zoomie or slow? --Personally, would prefer a medium pace between the two as character power progresses. --Some mobs (White, Magic, and Rare) zoom around like their hasted.
