I Got Questions About Mace Skills and Attack Speed Penalties

Level 92 Endgame Titan player here just wanting to leave some feedback. Attack speed penalties on Mace skills are absolute garbage. Why is that I'm being punished for using the slowest Melee weapon base type in the game from their own skills? The attack speed percentages on some of the mace skills are just soo bad and do not make sense. How is Boneshatter (Mind you, not even a slam skill but a STRIKE SKILL) almost the same speed as MANIFESTING A GIANT HAMMER FROM THE SKY, BUT STILL SLOWER THAN CREATING AN EARTHQUAKE? Supercharged slam is just fucked, who cares if it got rebuffed to do more damage when it takes even longer now to charge it especially when bosses progressively get more dangerous in maps. Sunder, Leap Slam and Rolling Slam should just be 0.5 second delays, Like why the hell do I jump into the air slowly and land slowly, yet somehow make a huge crater on the ground? Earthshatter and Volcanic Fissure are SET-UP Skills why are they 80% of base attack speed, ridiculous. Stampede...losing control of where you go is just flat out terrible, I can't believe I'm getting u-turned by vases on the ground. Tremor support....it already does 40% less damage, why is there 20% less attack speed tacked on to it as well? Conc Effect, big damage, less aoe. Pierce support, pierces always but does less damage after piercing. I don't need to say more. Remove the stupid attack speed reducer on Tremor support. Oh boy who woulda guessed, there's attack speed reducers on the passive tree as well. Now these ones are less egregious, but it just leaves a sour taste in the mouth. There's so many compounding factors that make playing these skills so frustrating. When I play my class I just keep thinking about how good Gunlancer and Berserker played from Lost Ark. And both of those classes had leap skills, charged-perfect timed attacks, big satisfying AOEs with reasonable wind-ups. Like damn were those classes fun as hell and played smoothly. All I want as a Big Bonk Enjoyin Crab is for my skills to work with me rather than against me.
