Fresh Clip bug - massive dps gain on demand

Just tried out Fresh Clip support while leveling. It adds 1% damage for each bolt reloaded by the skill it's supporting, for the past 6 seconds. If you open the skills menu and remove some other support gem from that same skill, your bolts for that skill drop to zero. When you re-socket the support, the bolts go back to their maximum. For me that is currently 19 bolts for Armour Piercing Rounds.

So if I'm about to go in to fight a boss, or during the encounter, I can spam remove/re-add a support for that skill and each time it adds +19% more damage. Spamming that quickly my dps very quickly went from 5.5K dps to over 16K dps.

That is by a landslide my highest dps ability (other 2 are 535 dps and 2.7K dps). So more than tripling it on demand is huge. I imagine this could be abused really hard in the endgame. Not sure if it's considered a bug and not intended. Mana still decreases each time you do it, and the limit is basically 6 seconds for how long you can do it. I would guess this isn't intended gameplay though, haha. Just fyi.
