GGG isn't based in our American work-a-holic culture, they're in New Zealand. Like the rest of the world, they get a reasonable about of time off for the holidays. Maybe even paid time off! So be patient, they'll get back to us asap.

you should take a 2 second google search to see they only get 4 mandatory holidays.

Usually. But this year the 2nd was Thursday and many companies just extended the holidays to 6th - the real start of this year.

Don't expect any GGG posts until maybe the end of this week.

I have no idea how long GGG are taking off but here it is normal so just be patient.

We have a similar thing here. In August everyone is on holidays. I worked in a lot of workplaces over the years and while the job and conditions were different the August mentality was the same. The main difference is that every single one of them methodically slowed down business during the last week before holidays. I find it very hard to get behind the thought process of what GGG did here and i always try to get in other peoples shoes.

Everyone I know already worked on 2nd. I did on 3rd.

I worked throughout the holidays. If you are diligent while others are slothful, you will find value.
