Steam version crashing to desktop (maybe due to party play)

Today (Jan 02 2025) my game has crashed to desktop multiple times. I do not know what is causing it. At first I thought it was happening after I went afk for a couple of minutes and then starting to move my character. that is how most of my crashes have happened though the last time i was actively playing so not sure thats it.

The game crashes to desktop with no error message pop up. I am playing the game through steam. Everything is up to date on my computer including gpu driver.

MB: X570 Taichi
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
RAM: 32GB DDR4
GPU: AMD 7900XTX

UPDATE: I wonder if it has something to do with partying up and playing with a friend. Friend also plays on steam.
Looking back at today all my crashes have happened when being in a party. The last crash I had like this was a few seconds after accepting his party invite and loading into his zone.

On 1/3/2025 I was having the same issues. The game would crash randomly. Sometimes it would be on loading screens and sometimes just walking around. I wasn't getting any type of error message. The game would just close.

OS: Windows 10 Home
MB: X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Hero
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
RAM: 64GB DDR4-3600
GPU: RTX 3090

Prior to the crashes I did a windows update. I rolled back the update and didn't have any more issues that evening. The next day, 1/4/2025, I had more crashes. I did a memory check, file verification, check disk, and updated my BIOS. I was able to play for 6 hours on 1/6/2025 with no issues.

Then I jumped into a party and the crashes happened again. I backed out and disabled steam overlay. This has seemed to fix the crashing. It only crashed when in a party and no other time.

UPDATE: Well, that was short lived. I had more crashes today while in a party, but only in a party.
