Item rarity in maps should be based on waystone drop chance
" because Contains x pack means more monsters More packs means more kills which means more drops Tying rarity to number of affixes on maps, which isnt even how it worked in poe1 would only widen the gap for meta builds over non-meta builds. " Meta builds are expensive, shiver me timbers! That has nothing to do with rarity, without it those 200-700 divs will just be 20-70 with the same barrier of entry. The issue isnt MF, again, its streamers knowingly calling 200-700div builds budget, telling their fans what to buy but not how much it costs. |

" Contains x% pack is a prefix. Prefixes are "beneficial" and don't appear to affect waystone drop chance, only the suffixes, which are detrimental, do. That's why I said tie it to waystone drop chance. The riskier your map is, the better the reward. That way it shouldn't benefit meta builds any more than others. Even meta builds can get caught by buffed up one shots. As it currently is, the risk on maps has no incentive. |
