Is wipe good or bad for PoE2?

The wipe is not the problem.. But the possibility that all this fuss occur again.
F R E S H is a mind-virus. Caring about the 'economy' in a FTP dungeon-crawler is the definition of Doing It Wrong.
Hello, everyone.
I understand the criticality of the reported issues, but I think the most critical issue is the game's economy. The game practically forces trading, unless you want to be a patient solo player like me. I've been working with data modeling for a few years and have participated in the development and maintenance process of critical applications, although I've never developed a game, but I believe there should be (if there isn't already) a unique key for each instantiated item. Once the unique key is duplicated, both items should be deleted and their holders notified that the recurrence would result in no account wipe. Furthermore, considering the creation timestamp of the duplicated item, some action could be applied to subsequent items, such as a debuff or some light penalty. I believe the overwhelming majority of players are trying hard, and I don't think it's right that the righteous pay for the sinner. I believe that GGG has the intelligence and empathy to address these issues with minimal impact on "fair" players, and I sincerely hope that I don't have to throw away all the hours of play I've had.

no. do you really think people want to start over? not in this game. everything was so slow and tedious to achieve. no way people want to restart

honestly the "early game" problem could be easily solved its not THAT bad honestly

just buff player damage a tad so its not such a slog and lower respec costs so people are not overly punished by trying stuff

thats honestly all it would take, and maybe increase resource or loot drop rates in the early acts a bit

maybe increase starting life or buff the early defenses a tad as well

its not that broken

i HOPE they wipe for full release though. really no point in letting anyone keep anything at that point.

So now that you know its coming, are you going to continue playing regardless and have it be on you? Sounds like its time for reset haters to take a good hard look at themselves, and make a decisions and live with it.
