Is wipe good or bad for PoE2?

Do you think this would be acceptable?

Due to the problems with Loot, very broken builds and "unfair" Crafting of items + the bug with Temporalis, it would be nice to make a wipe and give poe 2 a new life, which will take place under the supervision of the GGG team.

no. do you really think people want to start over? not in this game. everything was so slow and tedious to achieve. no way people want to restart

I never wipe, but GGG will.

This is just a teast realm doesnt matter its not going to standard. I dont think they will wipe it.

If we use the fanboy's logic, then yes, we need reset because it's EA, not official release.

there's a big dilemma here:

Early game problem:

Campeign is fun enough but too long too exhausting.
Early crafting is bad, a lot of veteran bearly capped their resis in first week.

Endgame problem:

pinnacle bosses is hard to find.
people have to pay 3-6 div for the first mechanics passives to "start profiting"
eco is fucked.
Build unbalanced


to solve the eco problem, all players have to go through the campeign and early game, reset the atlas so you have to find pinnacle bosses and do the boring quest from 0 AGAIN.

Yes, the eco is fucked and I suffered too.

But no, reset is maybe not a good idea now, unless GGG solve all these problem.

Its early access, if they feel like they need to wipe to fix stuff then its a no brainer its completely fine

Why everyone is obsessed with wipe tho? Just start a new league, call it "Early Access phase 2" or something, then people can start fresh, or choose to continue the existing league. GGG don't need to wipe millions of people's progress to give fresh servers. In my opinion, they should start a new league with the next major update (adding class, weapon or a mechanism), after fixing all the broken things.

In 2 weeks there won't be 100k playing this game.
So "Millions worrying about a wipe" must be addressing people currently on the toilet.

Since crafting is in the gutter, and drops the same, trade is the only good place to get gear to get into endgame, unless you have 100 hours a week to grind.
What has happened is that the rich are now controlling all of the market, gatekeeping the endgame for everyone else with absurd trading prices that only other rich people can afford.

Do you know who doesn't want a wipe? The 2-5% of players sitting on all the wealth and broken builds. They are terrified of having their mirror farms getting destroyed.
And they are hiding that fear behind absurd claims that the game is perfect as it is.

I don't think they'll be a new league/instance, since a one-month league doesn't give them the testing data that they need, but if there is, it'll probably come with major content release like the druid and huntress.
