Elemental Cleave build gear advice

Hi all!

I'm a lvl 77 templar, and having a lot of fun with the build.

Now, my brother-in-law found a kaom's heart yesterday (f*ck yeah!), and now i'm starting to wonder....

Should i use the kaom's heart, and maybe try and run with a 2H weapon? I'm thinking about Kaom's Primacy, and try getting a 6 socket and either 5L or 6L.

Ele Cleave greatly benefits from fast weapons.
The faster the weapons you have the better the damage.
I don't think you can have a two handed with 2 + aps as
the best corsairs have.
Imo Kaom's isn't the best option for your cleaver.
But you can try it if you have a 5L 2h.

Elemental cleave is dual wield or go home.

All off-weapon sources of elemental damage count double on cleave, but only if you dual wield.

Even ignoring the fact that 2h weapons are super slow, simply the fact that you're not dual wielding will cut in half the damage you get from wrath, anger, jewelry, wakes, etc. Add in the fact that your attack speed will be a lot slower...

Just no.

If you want to use a 2h and go koams, you'll want a different build than ele cleave. You could do physical cleave with a 2h if you want. It isn't all that great, but it will be better than trying to do elemental cleave with a 2h.

Honestly though if you want to go kaoms and use a 2h, you should probably think about switching it up to an infernal blow or dominating blow melee splash setup.
