Well, this is why we are getting wipes. Sad but doesn't really matter since this economy is temporary anyway.

Balancing a game around trade never ends well, the average consumer always suffers so the RMT mafia's can profit.

Same for other aspects that punish players, there is always a vested interest of those who seek to profit behind it.

And this reveals two other problems, such as trading should not be the main option, let alone the only option to progress to better items in a build. And how MF simply increases this problem even more.

It just leaves a game full of cheaters and people looking to make money off of it, who are not the devs.

What has been said is all progress in EA goes to EA Standard not Full game Standard. Meaning after release the leagues then will be ending up in Standard so anything from EA will never affect release nor the standard after release.

However EA does not mean people are free to exploit dupe bugs/resets to guarantee vaal outcomes/whatever affects the economy in a big enough way. Ofc GGG will take care of the ppl that abuse it.

Probably not a "wipe" but GGG will almost certainly have new E.A. "leagues" and will highly incentivize people to play in that league instead of their legacy characters.

So you could continue to play in "EA standard" but that game mode may become similar to solo-self-found as many people will be incentivized to play in the new leagues.
