Please take down the Pay to Win Websites

Hey,
after searching for a recipe on google today i witnessed that there are currently websites selling POE2 ingame items for money. I would love to see those closed down to ensure that the game stays fair.

will never, ever, ever, ever happen. These have existed for the entirety of PoE 1's life, they exist for ALL games, and GGG has no control over them.

It's the internet.

Sadly i agree with you there. It has been a problem for a long time. I was simply hoping, that maybe there is something they could do to prevent poe2 from going down the same road. Maybe they got some legal trick up their sleeves or anything that could end this.

Unfortunately 99% of the internet is faceless and full of tentacles: GGG (nor really ANY company) has the funds to combat things like those RMT sites. They'll spend millions against one site, only for another to pop up with a tiny variation in url in a matter of seconds. We see this with copyrighted material and streaming/downloading sites literally everywhere. If HOLLYWOOD can't stop it, you can bet GGG can't.

Payment companies don't care...they are making money no matter what and that is the sole reason they exist. Morality doesn't play a role either because...money. It is the age old argument for/against a free and open internet.

the only way you or ggg will ever stop that shit,. deleting trade. which tbh would make the game objectively better.

This. We are 3 weeks into EA and already this game became mainly visual plugin for trade website.

Won't change anything.....D3 didn't have trade, yet rmt was rampant. If your problem is the RMT, there is no fixing it. It will always find a way
