Simulacrum..

So after 390 hours played i tried my first simulacrum and i don't really have words enough to describe how bad this is compared to PoE 1...much smaller arenas, these simulacrum mobs act like in maps and run towards you, buldozing you around and they are not targetable the instant they spawn. The smoke effect is off the charts, you can't see anything, som forget about seing any type of ground effect, which there are a lot of.

i could go on, but the point is, it's completely awful.

And its extra bad on minions now because they cant survive any boss attacks that aoe after the nerfs.

In 0.1 it was impossible to do 4th tier as minions on a 200-300 div geared character.

In 0.2 You struggle in Tier 1 with minions because 1 cleave from miniboss nearly kills all of them... Also on a 200 div character....

Ghazzy made a video about it in general yesterday i think. Not specifically about Simulacrum but its same problem everywhere.

And minions are full defense specialised already.
I just spent 3 full divs worth of simulacrums to try and get T0 done. On a 3400 ES invoker with gear worth 50+divs that has cleared T4 of everything else but breach.

There's absolutely no way to complete this shit. And it gates the atlas node that makes waystone drops delirious which is the #1 passive source of extra xp and wealth.

I alt-f4 and don't think will be coming back until they sort this out. It was horrible in 0.1 and it's EVEN WORSE in 0.2

I would like to see Jonathan stream a T0 Simulacrum playing his own character with normal endgame gear. I guarantee absolutely no one at GGG tested this, or if they did they had an internal server with completely broken characters.

They beat my ahh, lich 16k es big dmg numbers, no problem on t18 or any other pinnacle. My bathroom is bigger than the 5th arena (11/15).
It's not just that the monsters are absolutely ridiculous. There is no room to move, you can barely see, you will be permanently stunned if not running the unique amulet that prevents light stuns AND the fps are absolute garbage due to the fog and weeds.

I would 100% pass on it but you NEED that first atlas node from the delirium tree if you want to stay competitive.

Even tried getting a friend with a 100+div lich to help. We both got stuck in a respawn point where we'd instantly die on respawn lol.

My god thought its only us minion people that could not do but it looks like most other non meta classes are coocked as well...

This looks like more than easy fix and more like they will have to redesign the whole encounter.
Simulacrum is something they really need to sit down, properly design and rebalance, because after playing through it during 0.1 SSF and BARELY getting through T4 as a Stormweaver Sorceress... it's safe to say Simulacrum is off-limits in 0.2.

Especially now when all slow/stun effects are way overtuned, Mana Syphon deals damage as well as drains mana, along with the frequency of rare mobs jumping out with Proximity and Invulnerability auras.

Am playing as a Blood Mage (Bonestorm/Bone Cage/Blasphemy with Temporal Chains) so might give it a try and hope Bone Cage gets me through it while they're super slowed as well, but I suspect the entire build will crash and burn if they get Less Damage Taken From Crits. Kinda silly to be more terrified of regular trash mobs than actual pinnacle bosses :D

Simulacrum esp in 0.2 is having everything that is wrong about Poe 2 cranked to 99 at mach 1000 in 1 place.

Its like the 11th circle of hell.
9th circle of hell is poe 2 trading system instead of having clean in game one.

Perma stun, small zones, mobs faster than light speed, respawn in middle of monsters, aoe 1-2 shooting all of your minions on 300 div build, no pacing of monster spawns once you die there is no way of comming back from it as whole zone is full of them to the point you cant put a finger in, some combination of mods you can get can reduce your dmg to 0 etc.

This whole system needs a total redesign and rebalance esp since some of the most important atlas perks are available there...

Come on not even being able to do first tier on builds that killed every last tier of every pinacle boss in the game is overkill...
