Unable to connect to instance

I was playing last night but today I can not login. After character selection it says can not connect to instance. Tryied other characters and servers... same thing. I am going thru Steam to play game on PC. I verified the files content via steam ... all fine. Only thing that MAY have changed is the new patch.

HELP !!! there are monsters going amuck and need to be dealt with.

It won't even let me login. The game launches and when I click the Login button it says "Unable to connect to server."
I play through Steam and have tried logging out of Steam and back in again.

I found this in my C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Path of Exile 2\logs client.txt log file. Hope this helps

Forgot to mention.... other steam games are working fine.

Well I got no help from Tech support on this but I did manage to figure out what the issue was and thought I may post it here to possibly help someone else out having the same or like same issues.

I had to turn off my VPN in my virus program setting to allow for the connection to be made. Now i run fine.... knock on wood.
