Minion Pact not draining life for Impending Doom

Running CI with Minion Pact on Conductivity and Impending Doom. Unspecced CI and when using Conductivity, the minions are not losing life when they should lose about 1300 life per cast. Moved Minion Pact to Orb of Storms, works as intended and they lose life.

Possibly working as designed as it says "Supports damaging skills you use yourself" and Impending Doom is a trigger skill, but in that case it should not be linkable to curses since they do not deal damage.
