Evasion & Energy Shield Nodes Interaction Bug?

Hi fam!

So I have been working on my Monk Chayula Poison Build.

For Defenses I thought it would be cool to get the node

Spectral Ward
+1 to Maximum Energy Shield per 12 Evasion Rating on Equipped Body Armour

Then go a bit more into evasion and got

Bestial Skin
100% increase evasion rating on Body Armour

HOWEVER,

They don't seem to stack. I even tried testing it by refunding the points and reapplying while staring at my energy shield values - the ES value stay the same.

So, I wanted to ask if according to what the nodes state, they should interact okay and that this is a bug
Or if I have misunderstood something about these nodes!

The nodes are in the monk side of the tree (Top Right)

I think it was a bug. I noticed this a few days ago, I tried again just now and it seems to work now XD!
