Leaping as Warrior = Stuck in Map Death

During my third ascendency, I jumped, got stuck here, and the monsters weren't registering/detecting me. Only one could hit me, and it was kind of stuck in the pillar too. I couldn't hit any monster, spamming my shouts did nothing. The timer ran out and killed me (chalice trial).

I've fallen out of bounds before like fighting the titan and being at his feet, but not being able to do damage. It eventually pops me back into the map. But this cost me the run, so I'll avoid using leap at all from now on.
I've gotten stuck using the charge, but I'd rather only give up one because its just too boring having to give up all my kit mobility over bugs.
