" There is no entry in the terms of service for use of the game, the trade site, or the mechanisms by which the two interact that explicitly states that if you have posted an item for a given asking price, that you must immediately accept offers to purchase said item for that asking price. Some people may use quick posts to check for poachers to see if they are in the right ball park. Some people may be taking a dump. Some people are just douchenozzles and post items deliberately below market value to bait other people into posting items they can then poach. None of the above is outside of terms of service, and I would encourage moving on with your day when you encounter them. |

I would agree with you but this game is infested with people trying to take advantage of other players. Then on top of that there is no reliable way for people to price check their items. I first intended to always sell for what it's listed as but I had to break this or else miss out on a ton of currency because I had no idea my item was worth 5 times more.
It says a lot when you drop a unique or whatever into trade for 1 ex and chat lights up like a Christmas tree flooding you with messages. Only an idiot would sell it now instead of updating the price. |

Wanna chime in here, there is an issue where players requesting to trade appear offline, this results in seller being unable to invite for trade. Im unsure wether its an issue on seller or buyers end. I listed a decent wand tonight for a sharp price cos i crafted a good upgrade, i quickly recieved trade notofications from 3 people, all 3 were showing as offline for me and despite clicking invite multiple times, none of them recieved my party invite and i could not complete the sale. Ive read about the issue but tonight was my first time actually encountering it. Real pain in the ass.

So... could you reply to those that were listed as offline?

" I thought this in my early POE1 days Then one day I got flooded by 100 PMs and instantly realized why some people don't reply |

Quite hilarious OP.
Same way i would say people asking 100+ divines on items wasting majority players times who will never get that much before official release. Only waste of time is when you try to sell item that no one wants and micro manage those in your public storage space. Any other situation changing price is common thing in trade league. To OP if you dont want people waste your time dont play standard (trade league). Or better you dont have to trade at all even in standard league. Its optionally available. |
