Tier 5 RARES Suck
Here's a perfect example of why the drops in the game sucks.
GGG told us that the Tier 5 Rares will be very rare and powerful. I've never had ONE SINGLE Rare that was at least decent in 300h of play and I've had a couple of them already. How come a lvl77 Expert Zealot Bow, which is the highest lvl, and Tier 5 can have just 85 Physical damage? Not even let's say... 400? How are we even supposed to craft of build better gear in this game? If there is such thing as crafting, because I see no crafting mechanics so far. Yeah the system is bad right now. I also was under the impression that the whole base drops as T5 and u can craft on that getting only T5 and higher affixes.
Unfortunately that's not how it works and therefor those items are almost useless. If GGG wants us to get excited about rares droping, make T10 or T12 rares. But they can't, because some affixes only have like 4 tiers and others have 12 or more... But T5 doesn't solve that, because the T12 ones are actually the important ones. OK. Today I've had another Expert Zealot Bow T5 drop which came with the exact base damage 84!! Is this a joke? Was this actually scripted to be like this? How can two drops have the same identical number?? Can this be fixed? |

I found both of these today and several others that I have sold for many divines the past three weeks.
Loot is fine and affixes are locked behind ILVL (item level) ![]() ![]() Last edited by QticaX#4168 on Dec 30, 2024, 4:01:09 AM

I'm past level 90 on 2 characters doing T15/18 maps and the loot is absolute dog crap.
I have never seen a bow with over 300 damage, let alone 500+. You are just extremely lucky or playing a broken build and are a 1%er. Last edited by whowe1#7244 on Dec 30, 2024, 4:51:04 AM

I know what I am doing and I am the 1% on POE but here I am like everyone else.. I am climbing that economic ladder because I am selling these items I find/craft.
If you're using a loot filter I would suggest removing it for fine tuning it to show all rares/blues ilvl 79+ as these are the ilvls required for the higher tier mods.. ilvl 82 being the highest. I use my own build and make all my own currency. I have 12 years of POE experience crafting mirror tier items. I am not lucky as I still haven't found a perfect jewelers orb and that's counting time played. ![]() So no, loot is fine in its current state stop picking up "Tier 1,2,3,4,5" and start picking up all ilvl 79+ rares and blues. All the "Tier x" means is it minimum mods are Tier x or higher. Last edited by QticaX#4168 on Dec 30, 2024, 5:03:11 AM

If you are 1% why should you get to dictate the game for everyone else?
The loot sucks. It sucks. I'm not using a loot filter that hides anything, only highlights some things. I look at every expert item with a high iLevel. They are all trash. God, climbing the economic ladder? Do you hear yourself? Is this a game or a job? I play games to get AWAY from all that crap. Last edited by whowe1#7244 on Dec 30, 2024, 5:17:18 AM

" Yes, endless endgame is a ladder. Thank god it's optional content after the main game, which is the campaign. You want to climb it ? It's competitive, long and difficult. You don't like it ? Why are you even here ?? |

Because I paid money and I can give feedback just like everyone else and I will continue to do so.
The trade economy was a big reason why POE1 never appealed to people and I hope they change tack with POE2. Basically, if you don't reach endgame by like day 2 you get left behind and are basically screwed. The same thing is happening here. If you didn't play a screen clearing build with MF you are playing a completely different game than everyone else and you will never be able to gear a character because the game doesn't drop useful items, like ever, and the prices just go up and up every day on trade. " Yed, feedback is good. But forcing yourself to play a game you hate is not healthy. |
