Game decieving/lying with Percentages (%%%)

I am getting sick of how this game handles % and numerical values.

I have just cleared Simulacrum tier 4 difficulty, and got my last 2 points wow, yes now we can get something juicy.

There is a node in the end that says, Delirium Bosses have 50% more HP, but they drop 50% more Splinters, amazing I took it.


Guess what? Instead of 3 splinters, they drop 4!! now. That is a 33% increase, or in actually that is +1 or 2 splinters per map, it is nothing. It is a bad node, that scales of % badly.

But this is how the game handles percentages in general. Why lie that it is 50% when it is only 1/3 of an increase?

Is it adequate that any random blue mobs drop 2 splinters, and unique delirium boss drops 3 splinters? I have killed them hundreds of times already, they literally have no loot table, no boss specific uniques (not that I seen any at least). All the drop of extra loot from other mobs, is a frigging 3 splinters, which with a use of 2 passives that are very hard to acquire for the most playerbase nearly impossible, get you +1 splinter, per map, this is a joke and it is broken, and it is lie and deception.

there are maps instilled with high delirium values that "promise extra splinters stacks"

I have tried 20 30 50 60 80% more splinters and they all gave NOTHING


no real value no value at all, there is no visible tangible objective increase in splinter stack size dropped
