Lost Access to Your Game? Here's What Happened and How to Fix It

Hi everyone,

A couple of days ago, I tried logging into my account and found that I had lost access to my game. After checking the forums, I discovered that many others were experiencing the same issue. Here's what I found out.

Last week, I purchased a key from Eneba, thinking it was completely legitimate. Unfortunately, it turns out that this wasn't the case.

After realizing the issue, I decided to buy Path of Exile 2 Early Access directly from the official website and reinstalled the game. To my relief, my character and everything I had achieved were still intact!

So, if you bought your key from a third-party site like Eneba, Kinguin, or Instant Gaming and then had your access revoked, this is likely the reason. The solution is simple: purchase the game from the official website, log back in, and you should find all your progress right where you left it.

I hope this helps anyone dealing with the same problem!

Wow mr. obvious. I am impressed how you managed to come into this conclusion. If anyone including you me and thousand other people knew how would this go, we would all buy from the official site.

The thing is, there are people who bought the game from steam and still got their access revoked.

Another thing to mention is that, all these sellers had and still have huge positive reputation and feedback in these 3rd site parties you mentioned. I doubt they would risk their reputation for some extra money. I have bought tons of keys through out the years for games and services and yet to have a problem until now.

Thank you for sharing your perspective! I completely understand your frustration—it’s a tough situation for everyone involved.

You're right that third-party sellers like Eneba, Kinguin, and others often have strong reputations and great feedback. Many of us, myself included, have used these platforms for years without any issues. This situation seems to be an exception, and it's understandable to question why it's happening now.

I shared my experience to help those who might not realize that their key could be the issue, especially if they’re new to using third-party sites. As for people who bought directly through Steam or other authorized channels and still lost access—that’s something I wasn’t aware of, and it definitely adds another layer to the problem.

It seems like there’s more going on here than just third-party keys. Hopefully, the developers or publishers address this soon and provide clarity for everyone affected, regardless of where they purchased.

Thank you again for your insight—it’s important that we all share our experiences to get a clearer picture of what’s happening!
Wow what a fix why didnt I think of spending more money to buy the game again. I bought key from kinguin and had my access revoked too. Thanks god I can just ignore the money I spent on kinguin and spend 30$ more on official POE website.
