Mercenary reload "jamming bug" and velocity rounds not working
After going another time with Mercenary, the jamming problem is there, clear and obvious. When reloading skills like "Galvanic Rounds" every time he takes around 3 secs to be stuck in animation before being able to shoot. I can cleary see the animation itself of him pulling strings but doing it so slow that it plays on my nerves at times. -Just shoot man. This causes much slower than desired clear, lack of smooth gameplay and can also create dangerous situations if swarmed around at bad time.
Another problem is High Velocity Rounds: Skill description states that it causes knock back. But in reality it doesn't happen almost at all even if used at desired condition, being the broken armor. Half of the time I also noticed it takes away the broken armor, so hit connected but deals 0 dmg. ![]() I didn't notice the delay as much on grenades but I did happen as well at times. So please, Dear GGG, Take the combat improvement as one of priorities in incoming fixes. Mercenary really needs it. And of what I heard lot of melee classes also struggle with auto aim assist not helping at all, hits not connecting etc. Combat experience is most important and must work properly for all skills and classes. I hope to see fixes on it in next patch. Because without smooth and responsive combat we don't have anything else really ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thank you twitch.tv/unik0rnu Last bumped on Dec 28, 2024, 12:49:53 PM

I don't know much about your mercenary's struggle to load the crossbow (as in my playtime it only seemed to sometimes get interrupted by rolls, but never crawl to completion), but hits not connecting is a common theme for me too.
I try to Boneshatter enemies and they... just get pushed. As if the skill missed or something, but we're talking Act 1, with 100% hit change on regular monsters. It's not the skill, but something else, lag maybe? hit reg failing in some other spectacular fashion?. I try to use Killing Palm on an enemy with the blue flame over the head, the character travels the distance, stretches the hand, then... nothing, as the target refused to high-five or something. Annoying. These situations are also potentially dangerous when playing HC, especially in the case of Boneshatter (which is my main finisher). |
