RARITY on items fo und - ruins the game
The further i am in the game the more this simple stat kills the enjoyment of the game for me. For a long time i hardly seemed to get any loot in Act2 - so at some point i bought rarity on items found - this char now has about 130% rarity on items found.
The results were absurd, i suddenly got a lot more drops in general - especially Orbs and other useful items and the game actually feels way more rewarding all of a sudden and i am also less reliant on the auction house. But this has lead to a giant issue: - my other chars now feel even more unrewarding than before - i have some really fun to play builds but they rely heavily on certain items and unique items that dont even have rarity on items found - whats the point of playing a fun build if the droprates are a joke compared to other chars you have? It feels like beeing punished for not playing a build that can max out rarity on items found. This game offers such a huge variety of builds and interresting loot and stats. But in the end the only stats that actually matters seems to be rarity on items found. And the effect they have is so gamechanging that you simply cant not invest in them without beeing punished by the game. And not only that - not having this stat will also handicap you more and more the further you progress since you will miss out on lots of usefull loot and also currency you need - especially with the inflation that is growing exponentially with magic find making it worse. Please remove the stat completely or make it something similar to "Armor Quality" etc. so that you can add it to any item at least - and it shouldnt block a slot for something actually usefull to the game. At this point this stat feels more like a mandatory requirement that could be called +% fun. This stat completely contradicts the very core of this game since it pretty much tells you - hey there is a lot of fun builds you can do - but we will punish you if you dont do a build that only maxes rarity on magic find. I cant be the only one - playing any char that doesnt focus mainly on magic find feels dull once you realize how much worse your loot is.

No one else feels that its weird that one stat pretty much decides what you get as a reward to this extent?

Just wait until you learn the real problem isnt MF, but insane damage.
Massive damage nerfs incoming will show that MF isn't the problem. It's only strong due to the insane scaling at end game. Farm your currency now :P Step 1 is to self reflect.
