Help understanding Beidats Will

The description say: reserve 25% of life and give 1 max spirit for every 25 point of life.

Are those 1 max spirit for 25 point of life only for the reserved hp or the max hp or the map hp - reserved hp?



For erxample: I have 1000 hp, will i get 10 spirit (for reserved hp 250) or 40 spirit(for max hp 1000) or 30 spirit (fo max hp -reserved hp 750hp) ?

Cause we cant respec ascendancies i will be sure how much i will get if i skill it.
