Is there any prohibition that makes this interaction fails? Am I missing something?

They should work fine, do they not in-game?

do you have the int requirement for the lightning bolt skill. I believe even for cast on block, triggers, etc that get auto slotted. you have to reach the requirement for them to proc.

After testing this myself with the 191 intelligence req met, it still does not trigger with this unique mace. Very unfortunate. Was planning a lightning warrior. Thor style.
