Huge FPS drop when doing breaches. Is it only me?

Hey guys, I was wondering if I am the only one to have titanic drops on my FPS once I open a breach. I know the game is still being optimized and I can cope with 42-46 fps when my screen is filled with hundreds of mobs, but breach is is another level for me, we are talking about 20 fps most of the time during them.

I'm using an RTX 4060, 32GB RAM and the game is installed on an NVME. I know my process is not the greatest of all time (Ryzen 5 3600), but it shouldn't be THAT BAD, should it?

I've never seen the processor getting past 50% usage on this game even when the screen is filled with mobs and yes, its maximum performance is set to 100% on windows and more... I've tried everything you can imagine, manually setting all cores, disabling core 0, disabling both core 0 and 1, messed with nvidia configs, tried all configs in the game, tried windowed mode, vulkan, tried a software called Process Lasso to get the most possible out of my processor, hell I even overclocked my processor last morning, still the same thing. Windows game mode and all that stuff present on 475 youtube videos were also tried.

I won't even mention that I run on 1600x900 because I like to play any online games in windowed mode, so we are not even talking about full HD, but yes, I've tried fullscreen and etc already. I've reached the part where I just accepted the problem and I'm waiting for better optimization (like Frame Generation, etc).

Any thoughts?

in your case, yes. even a i7 2600k OC'd fights blows against a pesky R5 3600 cash grab.

I will also add that it appears both POE games require a mighty CPU to run. Even in POE1 I can't do blight lol. It would be awesome to play the game flawlessly and I guess I'm going to start saving up money on the side for a new CPU/motherboard myself.
Same problem with 7900xtx & 7800x3d. FPS drops from constant 150-200 fps to 70 in breaches and when i explode with high mob density, game just freezes for 1-2s and it's a gamble whether i come back to death screen or loot.
It's really not the CPU tho, it's mostly all the GPU doing the work. CPU usage is very low in general on my R7 5800X when playing PoE2. These frame drops also happen when a map boss dies, sometimes during the act2 trial and in other occasions, there's stuff that is definitely not optimized or at least need a graphical option so we can disable these bottlenecks.

CPU percentage doesn't necessarily mean it's GPU limited.
The CPU is still limited by other things.

The easiest way to see if you are CPU/GPU limited is to turn on the metrics and watch the CPU and GPU ms times.

If the CPU ms is higher than the GPU, it's a CPU limitation.

Note 'CPU limitation' can also be a memory bandwidth issue (DDR4 vs DDR5, CAS latency, caches, etc)
its the poe1 problem again.. too many mosters and HoI should be deleted
