Frost Wall

I've been testing all cold spells on sorceress since launch and somehow I always ended up adding frost wall into every single variant that I had as it was so good both for offence and defense and now I'm here to talk about the problems this skill has as there are a few...First of all it is a WALL and monsters should never be able to go through a WALL you get my point?Second problem is that any monster with narrow hitbox(size doesn't matter) WILL NOT get hit by the initial hit and also doesn't get frozen which disabled a lot of the potential and forces players to use another skill to break the ice crystals, Idk if this is totally intended but it's really bad, if u rely on frost wall to both deal dmg and freeze in order to do a follow up combo or stack energy for some trigger skills you will have a really rough time against any narrow hitbox monsters like snakes,small humanoids(skeletons cannibals,zealots), insects and both worms which can go underground (old and new version), things get even worse when facing a boss like kabala, balbala or doryani since you can't stack freeze procs on them unless they stay still for no reason and you manage to detonate the ice crystals with something like fire ball or frost bomb(must get these 2 skills to do more dmg than the crystals hp which makes the build not rely on frostwall as a main skill again), sometimes the crystals tend to taunt mobs or at least take aggro for you , not always but sometimes, I'd rather have the skill being able to HIT and FREEZE any target no matter the hitbox size/shape than this random taunt/aggro against monsters and can even bypass 3 walls in a raw(usually small hitbox humanoids like cannibals or beyond demons which most of the time have higher movement speed than any other mobs or players). Overall the skill feels very nice , I was using it even in poe1 and I'm really glad it got reworked in poe2 and now it can be detonated and can potentially deal dmg ,but still needs a bit of improvement so builds that actually use it don't feel clunky.

I forgot to mention something, as I was fighting Kabala the queen during campaign I got really frustrated by the fact that all her auto attacks (projectiles) were hitting me by going ABOVE the frost wall , similar thing happened to me in trial of sekhema with a rare serpent monster with "Red projectiles" similar to the poe1 skill spectral throw, all projectiles were hitting me by going above the walls which is I find odd since I can block any hits from crabs and venomous crabs, fire balls and like 99% of projectiles with frost wall.
One other thing that feels quite bad is the way walls place in small corridors like in towers and Mire map, it just doesn't let me place even with attack while standing still or place a very small wall like ice crystal , meanwhile inside the trial of sekhema I could see frost wall on the cellings(like the top of the high walls close to balbala "checkpoint" between rooms.
