Vile effusion (dark effigy) not working with support gems

Been running into multiple issues with vile effusion/dark effigy not gaining the benefits of support gems despite those gems indicating they work on the ability with a green check mark when hovering over them.

Neither Minion Pact, nor Potential work atm.
