Help 200 hour Andy

I’ve been playing Path of Exile almost nonstop, except for the days my wife forces me to go to work. As you can see from my account, I’ve racked up 200 hours. I’ve reached a point with my Witch where I’m consistently clearing Tier 15 maps with no problem, just blowing through them. But now I’m wondering—what’s next? Do I just keep running maps, waiting for something to drop that will let me fight one of the pinnacle bosses I keep hearing about? I’ve been collecting these things called breach fragments I believe and I need to get 300 to get a breach stone once I’ve got a breach stone. Will I get notified that I can find an entrance or something?

I’m new to the Path of Exile universe, and I recently heard on a podcast that people are selling Tier 15 keys for six Divines. Have I been wasting my Tier 15 maps? Should I have been selling them to stack up currency instead? I’ve just been using Exalted Orbs to buff them, running them fully juiced as max yellow Tier 15 maps.

I’m also confused about when and how I encounter a pinnacle boss. I’ve done the missions up to the point where they take me to some kind of tower, and now I’m on three missions that require me to find and kill 3 different bosses I thin. Can someone help clarify all of this for me?

First of all: Welcome to our world Exile :P

Now for endgame systems, there are a few.

There's basically 4 "league" mechanics taken over from PoE1 that u can farm in the endgame.

One of those is Breach which u already mentioned. U have to collect 300 splinters to form a Breachstone. With that u need to find a certain building on ur Atlas, I think it's called Realmgate or something. There u can activate the Breachstone and fight Xesht, the Pinnacle Boss of that mechanic.

The second mechanic is Expedition, where u have to find Expedition Logbooks. Open them at Dannig in Town or ur Hideout and those have a chance to spawn Olroth, the Pinnacle Boss of that mechanic.

The third one is Ritual, where u have to complete Ritual encounters in maps and after that u can buy certain items with favour. If u are lucky, u'll be able to buy an invitation for the King in the Mist - the Pinnacle Boss.

The fourth one is Delirium, where u have to collect 300 Simulacrum splinters to form a Simulacrum. I'm not sure if u can just enter it or if u need a certain building like Breach aswell, but in the Simulacrum u will face 15 differrent phases with monsters and Bosses that get harder each time.

Lastly there's "THE" Pinnacle Boss of PoE2 withing "The Burning Monolith". To fight him u need 3 Fragments. Each Fragment is dropped by a certain boss in a Citadel. Unfortunately u have to find them on ur Atlas and so far no one figured out a way how to find them. So it's just RNG.

Every time u fight and defeat one of those Bosses u'll get Atlas points for that mechanic which makes the next time u fight them harder, but also more rewarding.

On a sidenode, there obviously also the two Ascendency mechanics, Trial of Chaos and Trial of the Sekhema that u can farm for specific and very valueable items.

I hope that helps :)

/edit: I don't know exactly what u heard on that podcast, but my guess is that they were talking about one of the 3 key items that drop from the citadel bosses.

First off, you can look at all of these boss fragment items by simply talking to Alva and choosing her currency exchange option. These fragments can be used at the realmgate at the start of your atlas.

Realmgate
Fragments

There's also the expedition boss which can spawn in logbooks which you get by simply doing expedition encounters in your maps.

The "6 divine fragment" mentioned in the podcast comes from ritual and is a full RNG drop. Waystones have nothing to do with it. You can keep using them without having to worry.

The quest for the 3 bosses requires you to find citadels on your atlas. These are random(as far as we know) nodes, containing an act boss from the campaign. Kill all three of them and collect their fragments to fight the last boss at the burning monolith at the start of your atlas.

As for "what's next" - that's up to you. I'd suggest you specialize/focus on breach, ritual OR expedition, use tablets in towers accordingly and begin your journey to fight their respective bosses. I'd skip delirium for now as it is significantly more difficult.

First off deal with the core issue that is preventing you from playing POE. Either lose the job, or the wife, preferably both.
here is how poe works unless you are a ( streamer , trader or some other turbo addicted 1%)

new league starts , you level up , make a few characters , blast maps .
kill all bosses . and play around 100-300 hours depending on the person.

then somewhere in between that time while you are blasting maps , all the pixels kinda start looking the same , and nothing means anything . you get depressed
and quit until next league . and that is how every league ever worked.

Damn that sounds miserable. Thank god that's not my PoE experience for the past 11 years.
I really appreciate all your comments sorry I didn’t respond until now I was at work!

Thank you very much though this taught me a lot!
