Why is there no option to see DPS numbers while killing ads?
I have been enjoying the game so much lately, however, it's really frustrating not being able to see my DPS numbers while killing enemies, which is the best part about ARPGs.
Being able to see damage numbers helps a lot to see how much your damage has improved and gives a sense of satisfaction the higher the numbers count. I really hope GGG adds this option which would improve the game by alot imo. Thanks. Last bumped on Jan 2, 2025, 11:55:06 AM

You want MORE visual clutter??
Weird take. |

Because Blizzard bought out the entire supply of DPS numbers to put them into D4. ;)

I'd go for something a bit different - target dummies in hideout and built-in dps meter. Numbers are cool and everything, but absence of dps meter in these games is kanda meh.

GGG has been quite adamant about not having this, so don't hold your breath.

" They did it for a good reason. If there's a DPS meter and/or damage numbers in such games people usuall go for the builds with the biggest numbers rather than playing the skill they enjoy the most. ;) To prevent this situation GGG decided to not display numbers or DPS meters, bcs they know the disadvantages from such numbers from other games prety well. ;) In POE2 it's prety easy. If you kill stuff fast = Good DPS. If you take minutes even for trashmobs = Bad DPS. ^^ Last edited by CroDanZ#1818 on Dec 27, 2024, 11:24:07 AM

I totally get what you guys are saying, however, not all players agree.
myself and a lot of other players would appreciate having to toggle that option on or off, we appreciate seeing how much damage we're dealing, or if our attack hit or miss, or if I dealt a crit shot or not or if I evaded an attack. all of those elements are really necessary for an ARPG game and we would all appreciate seeing them in POE 2 |
